Preparedness

Identifying available resources for 14 areas including the obvious like fire and less obvious such as shelter, public health, radiation emergencies, public information, and damage assessment.

Preparedness includes the regular meetings of the Local Emergency Planning Committee and as well as purchase of equipment and supplies. In addition, the coordinator and his deputy meet regularly with Bergen County OEM and receive training from NJ State Police OEM.
